I am thrilled today to share an awesome card created by a lovely lady, Sharon Klumph :)
I had the pleasure of working with Sharon on occasion before I retired. We had some fun times...I just love her sense of humor!
Sharon does not have her own blog, but that does not mean she loves paper crafting any less than those that do!
"Hello all from the beautiful rural setting of Mercer, PA. home of the County Seat. I have lived in this area since I was 3 years old and can truly call it home! My husband and I have 5 children and 6 grandkids, who are the light of our lives! God is good. I began papercrafting after my daughter told me I needed a hobby and my husband bought me a Cricut Expression for Christmas 6 years ago. I attended a card making class with a friend and found myself at our local craft store, Pat Catan's, that very same week to get supplies to recreate a card I made. I was instantly addicted to cardmaking. To me, cardmaking is like being in kindergarten again...cutting, coloring, glueing (since there was no kindergarten in my town when I went school, I am in my second childhood!!) I walk into my craft room and feel an overwhelming sense of peace and relaxation. Hope you enjoy my creation! God's best to you today!
Sharon created this card for a graduate headed to Baldwin Wallace.
Sharon thought "Oh dear, what to do...what to do, this graduate was involved with wrestling, football, and baseball!"
This is her idea...incorporate all three sports into one shirt :)
And now, drum roll please...
TADA!!
Sharon altered a scrub shirt stamp from Toomuchfun Rubberstamps onto cardstock and used StazOn ink in saddle brown, then fussy cut to look like a t-shirt.
She adhered seam binding from her stash for the neckline.
The bumble bee eyes and wings were enhanced with Artful Stamper in White Perfect Puff.
She used the Wild Card Cricut cartridge for the team name on the back of the card. Inside phrase is from the 3 Birds on Parade Cricut cartridge.
She used a TLC stamp on the sleeve. The thoughtfully handwritten greeting was used with a Gelly Roll pen.
